NAPLAN Results 2024

NAPLAN is a national literacy and numeracy assessment undertaken by students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. It is the only national assessment that all Australian children undertake. Literacy and numeracy skills are the critical foundation for all learning and for the ability to participate effectively in society. NAPLAN questions assess content linked to the Australian Curriculum in English and Mathematics. 

2024 NAPLAN assessment results will be sent home to families of students in Year 7 and Year 9 early this term, as provided by ACARA. The data from NAPLAN test results gives our school and the Department of Education the ability to measure our students’ achievements against national standards and student performance in other states and territories. 

Last year, the scales used to describe student performance in NAPLAN changed.  Please refer to the attached information and this video to assist your understanding of the NAPLAN report this year:
