Wearing a seatbelt doubles the chance of surviving a crash and reduces the risk of injury. If your bus seat is equipped with a seatbelt, you need to fasten it. It is a student’s responsibility to use the seatbelt and buckle up. Students are encouraged to form the habit of buckling up without being asked by the bus driver.
