Principal's Report

Year 12 Drama

This group has shown dedication, commitment and resilience in the face of the immense challenges they have faced in their HSC year. Students have participated in state-wide HSC Drama workshop days, live performances of studied texts in Sydney, as well as multiple school holiday HSC excellence workshops to develop and refine both their Group and Individual performances. In further preparation for their HSC performance examinations, all students performed at the annual HSC Drama Showcase evening, held at Catapult Dance Studio on Hunter Street. The night was an immense success and gave students vital live audience performance experience ahead of their formal examinations. With the performance examinations now complete, and the written examination a matter of days away, I would like to congratulate all class members for their dedication and thank them for the honour of guiding them through the last 2 years of Senior Drama.

Year 12, Class of 2024

We wish our Class of 2024 all the very best as they complete their Higher School Certificate (HSC) examinations between Tuesday 15 October and Friday 8 November.  We said farewell to the Class of 2024 in style at the end of last term, with their Formal and Graduation events being a celebration of this wonderful group of students.  Both our Parkway and Cooks Hill Campus Year 12 students celebrated the culmination of 13 years schooling and said farewell to life as a school student.  The Class of 2024 have become our newest alumni and we wish them all the very best in their future endeavors. Senior Leadership Induction 2025

Throughout the school leadership selection processes, our Class of 2025 School Captains, Vice-Captains, Prefects and SRC leadership nominees all presented themselves in an outstanding manner and are to be highly commended. The process for nomination and selection includes students completing a speech to the school, a letter, an interview and voting process involving students and staff.

Congratulations to all of the students who went through this process for their outstanding leadership qualities.  Our Senior Leaders for 2025 are:

Our Leadership Induction Ceremony was held on Thursday 17 October, with parents/carers and the outgoing Year 12 Class of 2024 Senior Leaders in attendance.  We wish our new Senior Leaders all the very best as they embark on their leadership journey this year.

P&C Meeting Term 4
