Students, parents and carers are reminded about the importance of discussing student safety matters regularly with your child/ren. We also ask that you know how your child/ren are travelling to and from school every day. This includes discussing road safety, positive behaviour in the community, and always treating yourself and others with respect. Many students are riding electric powered devices to/from school and we increasingly concerned about the dangers these pose to young people around the streets near the school. Certain “E-bikes” and motorised wheeled devices such as electric scooters, skateboards, and hoverboards are currently illegal in NSW and we remind students at school of the dangers these pose on the roads, as near-misses are becoming more frequent. Your support in promoting safety to/from school is greatly appreciated.
