Thank you to all staff, students and parents for making this first term of the year so positive and successful! From my chair Year 9 and 12 have had a really great start and I’m looking forward to a strong and successful Term 2!

For many of us the beginning of term was about catching up over our holidays, renewing friendships and getting back into routine. However, quite a few students were arriving at Newcastle High for the first time.

I caught up with four of our seven new Year 9 enrolments to ask them five questions in five minutes to get a snapshot of their first term with us. This group have come from across the globe, out of state, the country, the coast and even from just up the road! They talked about the highs, the lows and the in-between!
