School Uniform

Students in Uniform Image

Uniform at NHS

We are currently working with students to ensure our uniform standards are upheld. During this time of year it is important that students are both staying warm and wearing our expected uniform.

As the weather has gotten colder, staff have noticed there has been a number of students who have been wearing items that are not appropriate for school, such as:

- Jeans

- Hoodies (all types/colours and brands)

- Black items of clothing (shoes are the exception)

- Tights/Leggings

See below images,  displaying some of our students proudly wearing the correct school uniform. Thanks to our fabulous models for wearing their uniforms so respectfully.

We understand that there are times that students may not be able to be in full school uniform, if this is the case our expectations are:

1. If a student is out of uniform that they have a signed note, from home with the reason for being out of uniform. This will be checked at the morning assembly and recorded. Students will be given a Uniform Pass for the day. If this continues to occur there may be parental contact, detentions or parental meetings so that the issue can be resolved.

2. If students/families are having difficulty accessing the correct school uniform, please contact the school so that we can explore the options available to us to assist you in providing the correct uniform.

Our current uniform is available for purchase at Alinta uniform shop on:

- Tuesday 1.00pm to 4.00pm

- Thursday 8:00am to 10:00am

Please Note: The Uniform Shop will be closing one week earlier due to a system upgrade. The last day for Uniform Shop purchase Online and In store will be Friday 26th June. The Uniform Shop will recommence Online trade from 6th July and in-store trading from Week 1, Term 3. For any urgent Uniform Shop purchases during this period, please contact the Alinta customer service center on 02 4321 0433.

As a school we are very proud of our students, their achievements and their school citizenship. We believe that our uniform unites us together and shows the community the respect we have for each other and what we stand for.

Thank you for your support
