From Monday 11 November until 28 November 2019 there will be changes to some school services due to traffic diversions in preparation for the Newcastle 500 event.
School bus route 719 will pick up and drop off school students at Newcomen Street. It is then approximately 250m walk to catch the Stockton ferry from Queens Wharf. Please see map below for service diversion information.
Newcastle Transport customer service officers will be available at Queens Wharf and other bus stops in Newcastle East to assist students with the changes.
