Our student leadership selection processes have culminated this term in the announcement of our 2026 leadership team. Congratulations to all student leaders who nominated for the captaincy, with the group demonstrating all our core values in the exceptional way they conducted themselves. The induction of the 2026 leaders will occur in a formal assembly on Monday 20 October (Term 4, Week 2).
Rebuild Update – We are moving in soon!
We are extremely excited to be now making plans for moving into our new school buildings in Term 4, Week 3. To support our communication as we move into the new school, please note the following, which has been sent home to all families within email communication:
The HSC examinations for the Class of 2025 will not be affected by any moving in plans and preparations.
In Term 4 Week 1-2, we will have minimal or nil Canteen facilities. Please support this period by encouraging students to pack a healthy lunch for school each day.
From Term 4 Week 2, we are starting to move progressively into our new teaching and learning spaces - Draft moving in schedule for Term 4 published here.
The new map of our school grounds and gates from Week 3 is published here.
Students will be assembled every morning from Week 3 for a roll call and information session together in our new COLA at 8:55am, to prepare them for each day and make announcements about school operations.
Sentral and School Bytes (email) messaging will be used to announce changes in school operations including timetables, playground areas, toilets and the Canteen. Students should have access to their BYOD device to keep informed about these messages.
We encourage our parents, carers and students to keep in touch with our school communications during this period, as we transition into our beautiful new buildings. From Week 6, we will be preparing to have the demountable buildings removed from the site and the final stage of demolition and landscaping commence. Exciting times for NHS!
