NAPLAN 2019
NAPLAN assesses literacy and numeracy – important skills that each child needs to succeed in school and life. The NAPLAN tests are designed to help us make sure students are on track with their literacy and numeracy development.
Between May 14 - 24, our school will participate in NAPLAN Online. Students do not need to be computer experts to take the NAPLAN test online. Making sure students have computer skills is part of our school curriculum, and our teachers will ensure your child is familiar with the online format.

Prior to these tests, a Practice test will be done during Week 10 this term.
Year 9 will complete the Practice Test on Monday, April 1.
Year 7 will complete the Practice Test on Wednesday, April 3.
The Practice Test enables school staff to rehearse managing tests in the online platform. Students can also familiarise themselves with the types of questions they will experience in NAPLAN Online.
This is not a test of students’ ability and no results will be provided.
The Practice Test will be a 45 minute omnibus test that will include reading, conventions of language and numeracy.
Writing won’t be included in this test.
