GARDEN GANG

Firstly, a big thank you to all our dedicated gardeners who donated their precious time in August, creating new gardens and weeding on the National Park Street side, weeding and mulching the rockery gardens, weeding the Science gardens  and planting in different  areas.

Our next garden session is Sunday 22 September at 8.00am til about 11.00am. We are meeting in the Smith Street car park, please bring your hat, gloves and water bottle - we have all the gardening tools at school to share.

I realise everyone is extremely busy, but if you have a spare 30 minutes we would really  appreciate your help.

Due to the Year 12 Graduation day at the end of term, we would really appreciate some extra help to  make the grounds look pristine for all our guests to enjoy and admire.

We are hosting the Graduation afternoon tea in the art gardens, so lots of TLC in that area. Further jobs include weeding canteen, IA  and main hall gardens, mulching the cottage garden, art, library and creating and tidying up the rockery area.

Community Garden Challenge

Exciting news, we are still in the top 3 for the Colgate Community Garden Challenge, with only several days to go. We would appreciate your finished oral care items, toothbrush/packaging, empty toothpaste/packaging, any brand and empty floss containers. We have a container in the schools foyer.

NHS has taken on some more recycling challenges that you are all welcome to use.

Lids for Kids - eg plastic milk, water, soft drink juice bottle lids and plastic bread tags also we are the drop off  for pens and texters when they either run out of ink or dry out.  All items can be dropped off in the foyer please.

Stay tuned for more exciting recycling initiatives coming up!

Kind regards and I look forward to seeing you, Caroline!
