Library & Wellbeing Hub
Our Library offers a variety of study areas, computers and book resources for students to utilise.
Our School Library is located in R-Block; it is an interactive, encouraging and socially supportive learning environment. The Library has 3 collaborative learning zones, 5 seminar rooms, comfortable reading spaces and a Learning Hub.
The Library is open before school and during break times, daily. During these times students can use the technology and resources to complete class tasks and school assessments, browse and borrow from our expertly curated digital and physical collections of Non-Fiction and Fiction books, engage in recreational reading or participate in any number of the Library events, PRC and activities.
A Fuji Xerox printer-photocopier is also available for students to use, in both black-and-white and colour. Students are issued with a Papercut printcode, sent via email to access device.
Apart from helping you find great books, the school’s teacher librarian can:
- help build your information/digital literacy skills
- guide and assist you with referencing
- trouble-shoot any technology issues
- improve your ability to find sources that are current, credible, accurate and relevant
- recommend digital platforms that will help you to create/curate digital artifacts
- improve your writing skills in summarising, synthesising and consolidating ideas
- ePlatform by Wheelers books (eBooks and Audiobooks )
