Bell Times

We have slightly modified the structure of the school day at Newcastle High School, removing the morning daily Assembly this year.  This change has been made in response to student and staff feedback about the viability of an Assembly moving forward, with the student population size we have and without having a covered area for this to occur away from the elements.  The new Bell Times are within our Parkway and website.  School starts at 8:55am and students are expected to be at the classroom door for 8:55am, where roll call occurs in Period 1 classes for 5 minutes.  If arriving after 9:00am, students are considered late and must present to the Office to explain their lateness and be issued with a Late Note.  Having this process in place will assist us monitoring and supporting positive attendance accurately.  All student notices are posted on the Sentral Portal for students, parents and staff to access daily.
