Senior Course Information

Year 10 2020

It’s time for Year 10 students to start thinking about what pathway they aspire to beyond school and which Year 11 subjects would be most suitable for them. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, we are unable to hold the usual Parent Information evening. 

However, to support students and parents through this process, the following resources and activities will be provided.

 1.       Stage Six Course handbook (paper copies available on request)

2.       Video snap shots about each course 

3.       Stage Six Preparation lessons once a fortnight with Ms Kadarusman and our            Careers Advisor, Mrs Hine

4.       Stage 6 information session, on Tuesday June 2 at 5:30pm.

During this session Ms Kadarusman will explain the HSC requirements and the steps involved in determining a student’s pattern of study. Mrs Hine will also be available during this session to answer any questions. (instructions about accessing zoom available here)

 
We look forward to working with your family during this transition from Stage 5 to Stage 6. Our aim is for all students to select a pattern of study that suits their aspirations and ensures they are excited about commencing Year 11 next year.
