Student Concession Cards

Senior Student Concession Cards Information.

The NSW Senior Secondary Student Concession Card is issued to students who have reached 16 years of age and over. It is valid until 31 March the following year unless you enter full-time employment.

These cards permit students to travel at concession rate of fare on:

- all Sydney Trains and Metro services

- Government and privately operated regular route local bus services

- Sydney and Newcastle light rail services and ferries. 

The concession card must be carried at all times when travelling on child/youth fares. 

Senior Student Concession Cards Now Available.

Concession cards at Newcastle High are issued upon student request. Student requests are accepted at student recess or lunch times by Miss Helen in the Library. 

Please keep this card in a safe place as replacement cards are not issued by the school.

In the event a card is lost or no longer has the foil sticker to be valid the

Secondary Student Transport Concession Card replacement form (pdf 263KB)

must be completed and submitted online via the Concessions application form.
